Hi Guys and Gals

I’m so sorry for the delay. I was just taking a little break.  Everything is cool and I wish you all a Happy Valentine’s Day. I have a few things to tell ya’.

First up, Harry Schmitt and Cornerstone will be at Keenan’s Valley View Inn on March 12th starting at 7:30 PM.  Tickets are $30 including the buffet and are on sale now.  Harry and the Guys offer you two shows at 8:30 and again at 9:30.  For ticket information email Harry at goldenvoiceharry@aol.com or call Keenan’s at 215-483-8085.

Appearing at the Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania on March 12th at 8 PM see Johnny Maestro’s Brooklyn Bridge with hand-selected guest vocalist Joel Katz filling in for Johnny while he receives treatment for cancer.  We all wish the best for Johnny and know from first-hand experience that Johnny made the right choice in his selection of Joel.  Take a little drive and support this great musical group (570-420-2808.)

Next up you’ve got two shows on April 10th.  Take a drive to Pottstown High School for a concert starring the Soul Survivors, Eddie Holman and A Class Act featuring Rita.  For more information call Tom Coyle at 610-306-9361. On April 10th more entertainment awaits at the Patriots Theater in Trenton put on by Nitche Entertainment.  It’s a good one - starring Johnny Maestro and the Brooklyn Bridge, Kenny Vance and the Planotones, Barbara Harris and the Toys, Nicky Addeo and the Nite Owls, and acappella by the Encounters.  Tickets are $70 and $52 and the Patriots Theater number is 609-984-8400 or you can call Nitche Entertainment directly and toll free at 1-877-DOO-WOPS.

Another fabulous magazine is the quarterly Echoes of the Past.  Bob Belniak does a great job recruiting and maintaining a fine staff of writers who explore and expand, often with in-person interviews of group personnel, the available store of knowledge of our beloved music. Keep this source alive by calling Bob at  413-786-1929 or email him at echoes.past@yahoo.com for more details.

If you get a chance check out our Phil May -click on www.live365.com/stations/stationpgha to connect yourself. Phil plays more great music at www.eastcoastdoowop.com also available through Live365.  He very kindly hosts an outlet for rebroadcast of the “Walkin’ With Mr. Lee” and “Lady M’s Solid Gold Saturday Evening” shows originally heard on WRDV-FM and you will be able to hear his own  “Jersey Phil” show broadcast live on DooWop Cafe.  Thanks for everything, Phil.  Don’t forget - Mr. Lee and Lady M are also re-aired weekly on Destination DooWop (at www.destinationdoowop.com.)  Check the schedule there for times for both shows.
